Celebrating My Birthday in NYC

It’s my birthday! Today I turn 26, and was able to celebrate with my sister yesterday in one of my favorite places, New York City! We had a fun time exploring the city (we made sure to bring plenty of hand sanitizer, we practiced our social distancing and stayed off public transportation just to be safe!). Keep scrolling to see some of the fun places we visited!

We walked to Times Square and found a pretty quiet area in this bustling location to take pictures.

We explored the Strand Bookstore and enjoyed wandering around the Rare Book Room. We got to flip through Vogue Magazines from the 1960s, view signed Andy Warhol books, and see shelves of beautifully bound classics.

We walked to Washington Square Park and enjoyed hearing musicians playing and kids skateboarding in the winterized fountain.

Of course we got pictures with the arch!

Our next stop was Georgetown Cupcakes for a little birthday dessert. I chose a red velvet cupcake, and it was delicious!

Our final stop was Glossier, where we swatched their new skywash and enjoyed the cloud paint room.

As always, I love NYC and was glad to be able to visit for a birthday trip. I’m looking forward to year 26 and can’t wait to see where it takes me.
